Professional Biography

​

My name is Tamia Morgan, and I am a proud military spouse, mother, small business owner, graduate student, and student researcher based in El Paso, Texas. As the founder and CEO of T. Morgan V.A. Solutions LLC, my mission is to enhance access to education, promote equity and inclusion, and uplift others through our virtual assistant services. At T. Morgan V.A. Solutions LLC, we empower minority communities, independent contractors, and growing businesses. We aim to foster creativity and innovation through inclusivity, education, and mentorship, particularly by bringing STEM initiatives to life in rural areas.

 

My professional journey is diverse and fulfilling. Currently, I serve as an Executive Administrative Assistant on Upwork, providing high-level administrative support to C-level executives, managers, and vice presidents, optimizing efficiency and increasing productivity. Previously, I worked as a Donor Center Technician at Grifols and an Office Assistant at W.S. Robinson Trucking LLC, where I developed my communications, data entry, inventory management, and customer service skills.

 

In addition to my professional endeavors, I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with minors in Airport Management, Space Studies, and Management. My academic journey is enriched by a wide range of certifications in administrative assistance, project management, emotional intelligence, and IT infrastructure, among others.

 

I am passionate about environmental justice, and my current research focuses on the environmental health crisis affecting the Southwest Crossing community in Houston. My work sheds light on the mental health impacts of environmental racism and the ongoing struggle against fossil fuel infrastructure in marginalized neighborhoods.

Through my various roles and initiatives, I strive to make a positive impact by promoting education, equity, and community empowerment. My dedication to fostering an inclusive and innovative environment drives me to uplift others and contribute to meaningful change.
